Bat Nouveau

Bat Nouveau (formerly know as Thirteen Bats) are Australia’s premier Gothic Deathrock band. Starting in September 2008 the Brisbane based group consisting of Batbones on Vocals and Omnichord, and Corvus on Guitar, Bass, Backing Vocals and Drums/Keyboards.

Combining a wide range of influences including early Goth and Batcave bands (Specimen, Bauhaus Christian Death, Southern Death Cult, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry and Joy Division) as well as modern Deathrock (Cinema Strange, Bloody Dead and Sexy, Eat Your Make Up
and The Cemetery Girlz) to create a sound that is unique yet familiar.

In mid 2009 they released their debut song “The Cry” and their debut EP "Dust" which
garnered acclaim the world over.
